Wildlife Sightings

During the 2007 season we have had numerous sightings of:

Red Deer
Otter
Sea Eagle (White tailed eagle), and once depositing fish on the nest
Juvenile Sea Eagle on the nest
Golden Eagle
Peregrine Falcon
Merlin

Various species on the different islands visited. Various sea birds including petrels, shearwaters, guillemots, fulmars, gannets to name a few and of course the large bird colonies on St Kilda and the Flannan Isles.

Minke whales,
Orca,
Basking Shark,
Bottlenose Dolphin,
White Beaked Dolphin,
Common Dolphin,
Risso’s Dolphin

And also single sightings of: -

Sunfish and a Leatherback Turtle.
